So first of all...Harry Potter was different but I still loved it. It was so dark, and depressing. And pretty much nothing that was introduced got answered. Makes you really want to watch the next one. Those tricky, tricky movie producers. I really don't feel like waiting a whole year and whatever for the next movie to come out, ugh. ): Scott and I had a wonderful dinner, and it was so good. We just ate for like 10 minutes in silence because we were so hungry and it was so good. I don't think I can ever let Nando's go. There has to be one in California somewhere. That food is just like, something my body can not live without. I just researched it and there is only Nando's in Washington dc. This is not acceptable. The have a little over a year and a half to open one up in San Diego, and where our next base is or i'm going to be very upset. I probably shouldn't get my hopes up though. P.S. The video games in the UK take your picture and show your face in the corner when you're playing. I found this hysterical and weird. So I took a picture to remember the moment. Haha.
Well, before my date with Harry Potter, I went shopping with Britleigh and Jordan. We went to the Grafton Mall, and Primark. Got me some good stuff, and some of my friends some good stuff. I'm almost done getting everybody's gift! So exciting. We ate at Bella Italia and I got that heaven sent dessert again. I can't get over how good it is. Definitely indulged in some really yummy food yesterday. Tonight i'm gonna make hobo. Most people right now are like "What the heck is that?". It's just burritos filled with a mixture of hamburger meat, corn, bell peppers, and potatoes all cooked together, with some cheese and salsa. The salsa SHOULD be home made but the uk doesn't sell the certain peppers i need to make it, ANYWHERE. Which is a very sad story and one more reason I do not like it here. Scott likes to add sour cream. I don't. But yes, this meal is actually a very, very tasty one. So yum!
Also last night at the end of my shopping trip, I bought an artificial christmas tree. 7.5 feet tall, with lights already on it. Easy Peasy. I'm usually the girl who is all for the real thing, but with our tiny apartment, fragile carpet, and 6 flights of stairs, i'm go with a fake one this year. It's just easier on everybody. I will be putting it up the day after thanksgiving. You can believe that. I'm so excited for chrismas, AAAH. The more I talk about it, the more happy I am that it's the holidays. My favorite time of year. Snow should be coming soon according to the old man downstairs. That will make my mood a little better to wake up to whiteness everyday. Mmm, I will love that.
Today I miss Coffee Bean, and coffee stores being on every corner. Here it's a 25 minute drive to get the real deal. 10 minute drive for the coffee shop "sponsored" by Starbucks. Let me tell you.... not the same.
Time to take my pen pie for a walk, and to the grocery store for a few items. Today i'm gonna go to the british one even though it's really not that great as the one on base. But the one on base is just too far for me today. I want to stay close to home, or in my home. It's definitely a lounging day for this girl. Yesterday somewhat wore me out. Enjoy yourselves, I know I will. I have my puppy and lots of good recorded tv shows that I need to catch up on. Oh, and some marvelous hot chocolate mochas will be in my tummy today.
Love, Kelsey.
