Okay so yesterday I decided it was as good as a day was gonna get around here to take penny to the huge field by our house. I let her run around a lot and play with anything she could possibly find. But the walk there is just amazingly breath taking. Or I think so anyways. Definitely a nice place to take a walk in if you're upset or something. I took a gazillion pictures to show you guys. On our walk back we ran into this HUGE swan, and it hissed at Penny and kind of freaked me out. For some reason I had it in my head that swans were always so nice. Guess the disney movies put the wrong ideas in peoples heads. Anyway, we went back home and I basically did a few things that NEEDED to be done. Like clipping penny's nails, and doing the piles of laundry. I swear, I have like huge baskets of stuff to wash like every single week. It's a pain in the butt. But this time Scott went with me and it was NICE. Do you know how difficult it is to try and fold sheets and blankets with only yourself and not letting them touch the floor?! It's challenging to say the least. He did come though and I love it when he does.
Today is market day again, but I think I am going to skip out on it.Not really needing anything. I am going to take my car over to the "five ways" and take it to get cleaned inside and out. These eastern europeans own the little car wash place and actually do a decent job for a good price. 10 pounds which is 15 dollars about, to clean your car on the inside and outside SPOTLESS. Yep, that will be done today. I don't have time to vacuum and wash it myself. And they do a better job anyways lol. I also took a few pictures of the new candle wall holders I got to show you guys. My walls are getting less bare as each week goes by. Really loving that.
So I know my life isn't all that interesting, and there isn't much to write about besides Scott, Penny, my house, and the things I do. BORING! This weekend there are a few parties though which I might be attending. I think costume is required, and all I've got are some bunny ears, and a a pearl necklace. So we'll see if I can turn that into anything. I would go get something cute but... I really don't feel like wasting money on a costume I'll probably only wear once. I'd much rather buy something cute that I could wear all the time. But that's just me. Plus, Samantha my halloween dress up buddy is so far. It just feels pointless. We have plans to talk on the phone all night on halloween. I'll have a bowl of candy for the trick or treaters. (If we even get any). And I will talk to her all night. WAY better than anything else going on! Haha.
Also... here's a couple pictures of my abu purse. Way cuter in person. Just sayin! (:
I guess it's time to post this and go clean my car, and my house, and head to my appointment and then work. Sunday was supposed to be my last day but I was nice and said I could work til Thursday. I really need to stop being so nice. One more week to go at the bowling alley. I can do it.
I miss California, Inn-N-Out milkshakes, and normal grocery stores that sell the things I want.

Weather too cold for me to handle, Decorating my house, and Shopping.
Haven't written in awhile. Guess I should spill out some thoughts. I've been updating the house with decorations, and whatnot to make it look more homey. It's kind of working but I still have a lot to do. Just trying to make it home that way it at least feels good to be in my home in this country. I went shopping the other day in Bury St. Edmunds with Alex. I resisted a lot and only bought one cozy sweatshirt and one cozy scarf. And a little something for Samantha, and a little something for Tracy. And that is all! I feel like I did really good for as much shopping that Alex was doing. Monday is pay day and me and a bunch of girl friends are going to Primark. That place is CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. And Scott is allowing me to spend a good chunk of money to buy warm winter clothes. All my clothes are little things that you can only get away wearing in cold weather in California. News flash! I'm not in California anymore and this weather is almost too much for me to handle. I had an interview for a waitress position for the steak house at the liberty club on the lakenheath base, and just walking 50 yards to the entrance in the pouring rain was hard enough. The other morning there was ice on my windshield! Scott had to get to work so of course he freaked out and was trying everything to get the ice off of the car so i could drive him to work. So later that day I went to an auto shop and bought an ice scraper and some spray to make ice come off easier. I am seriously not ready for the snow that will be coming soon. That's why when I go to Primark I will be buying several thick coats, and scarves/beanies/gloves and cozy sweat pants. You better believe that!
Sunday is my last day at work, and I am excited/sad about it. On one hand, I love the daily interaction with people, not to mention I love the people I work with mostly. But on the otherhand, I always feel tired, overworked, and sooo sick of food. Now I will have more time on my hands to get this house in order, and decorate it properly, and keep Penny from being locked up in her cage so much. This is a good thing. But If I do get the waitress job, hopefully I don't get the overworked feeling. Me and that feeling just do not mix. But that feeling probably comes with any job right? Maybe not. I just really need to get away from any food prep type work. Waitress-ing out the food isn't a big deal I suppose. As long as I am not making the food! So tired of that.
Enough complaining... today I spent the whole day inside and away from the pouring rain minus going out for the interview. Scott and I just layed around, watched movies, hung up some curtains, had dinner together, and now we're both playing on our computers. Life feels nice today haha. It'll feel even better monday when I have no worries about a job, and i'm going shopping! Lol. I should've been born the daughter of someone really rich. I would be really good at that lifestyle.
Miss my family and friends. Don't talk to anyone as much as i'd like. The time difference just sucks. Sorry there's no pictures, too lazy to go get my camera. It's freezing and i'm all cozy and wrapped up in a blanket on this chair. (:

Chicken, New Couch Pillows, Lamps, and New Opporunities.
So we did in fact go house shopping, and we also hit up nando's. It was tasty, and we took lots of pictures. And the chicken we didn't eat was used to make chicken quesodillas for our midnight meal.We tend to have midnight meals quite a bit. Probably not good for you but oh well. Scott is always too lazy to make himself something to eat. And I am always hungry after work. So it works out. We bought a huge brown and red pillow for our couch, it's comfy and pretty. Can't go wrong with that. I just really wish they had two. But they only had one, we still bought it. Along with some lamps for our living room. They're pretty cute, but they're british so we will be getting rid of them before we come back home. They won't be a forever type of item. Sadly, because I really love them. I took pictures of them too, but the house looks a little messy but that's because I didn't feel like making it look perfect before I took the picture. You can all get over it. (: And the first picture on here is of an oil truck, and it said "emo oil" in case some of you can't read it. Scott thought it was funny, so i forced him to take a picture while I was driving. Haha. All in all, my day before work was most enjoyable since I had Scott by my side the whole day. I'm so happy he never has to go tdy or get deployed. I don't know how I would do it. I would probably be a baby and go home while he was gone.
As for today, I get to finally pick up my purse that I am having made from Scott's abu top. It's going to be fabulous, I can not wait to have it in my possession. I also have an interview today at the youth center. I also have another one next Tuesday for the Liberty Club to be a waitress at the restaurant they have there. I will most likely go with the youth center job. 3-8 pm, and it's a relaxing job not involving food. Finally a job that gets me away from the food! I'm so for it. I have a few friends that work at the youth center so i'm "pretty sure" I am in. Don't want to jinx myself though. So with that being said, I have 45 minutes to get ready and be there. Guess I should go.
P.S. I love how on facebook Samantha and I are now sisters. It's great. (:

Panini's, Laying in Bed All Day, and Cold Weather.
So today has been like the ultimate day. Well not the ultimate, but it's been pretty nice. I did go to work tonight, but we closed real early, and the rest of my day has been fantastic. Woke up later than 10, spent the day in bed with my husband and my babygirl. Went into town to have lunch, visit the candy store, and drop off some mail to our landlord. The reason there is a picture of a pound coin is because Scott and I were having a spinning contest to see who could spin their coin the longest. Any type of game and he's into it. My little game freak<3 I got my usual, an italian panini with pesto sauce, sundried tomatoes, and italian ham or some kind of meat like that in it. Scott usually gets a club sandwich, which he did today. And eats my coleslaw. I HATE coleslaw. I think next to peas, it's the grossest thing a human could possibly want to eat. I can't believe I am married to a coleslaw eater. And then we laid in bed some more until the last possible second before I had to leave for work. Work went by quick and it was all with good company. So that's always good. Now Scott and I are each playing on our computers, and bein' lazy. Didn't cook tonight, just brought him a hamburger from work. Easier, cheaper. Why not?
Tomorrow we're going to go shop for curtains in Cambridge. I love Cambridge. They have everything. Then we're most likely going to Nando's for lunch. The most awesome place to eat. We eat there everytime we go out. You can get chicken, or a few other selections, and you pick how spicy you want the chicken. I always get plain and it still burns my mouth, but it's still so, so, so good. We usually get seasoned fries, and pita bread and hummus. Thank god for the refillable fountain drink that comes with it. Plus they give military discount, and a punch card to get free stuff. That place is just all around good in every way. Scott and I's favorite place when we go out (:
Hopefully we find curtains that we like. These blinds just aren't cuttin' it. Oh, and today has been the coldest day of the season yet. Really nippy outside. It was terrible. I don't know how I will survive the actual snow and winter part. My butt will be in my apartment every day, all day. Going out just isn't gonna be happenin' for me. I refuse. It's weird to think how i've been here 10 days shy of 5 months. Wow, it does not feel like that long. 3 months and 16 days until it's been a year that Scott and I have been married. Time flys when you're having fun I guess. Being single in this country would blow. I feel bad for anyone who is. The weather would depress me into bed and make me want to stay there forever because outside is far too cold to be in without a hand to hold.
I love that I have that hand to hold.
Love, Kelsey.

Jacques, Penny Pie, and Really Late Night Dinners.
It's been a good couple of days since i've written on here. Guess I should catch ya'll up with my really exciting life! Saturday I worked, and then when I got off I went to the club on base with a bunch of people from work. Woo was that some fun, and woo did my legs hurt from all the dancing the next day or two. I love dancing, it just let's me relax and really enjoy myself. Despite the fact pretty much every other guy in the room was trying to "get at me". I had to repeatedly say that I was married. THEY STILL WANTED TO BUY ME DRINKS! If I were a guy, I would not even bother. Somethin' about these military boys, they like to be persistent. Well they got nowhere with me, just to keep all that clear. Poor little lonely airmen. So Sunday I pretty much laid in bed til the moment i had to leave for work. I was not feelin' too well. And Monday and Tuesday I went shopping in Cambridge and a few other places. Didn't really buy much besides some christmas decorations and a yummy smelling candle that is burning next to me as I type. And just stuff like that. Nothing worth mentioning really. But yesterday Stacy and I made a waffle and jacques run to Tesco. Belgian sugar waffles, and Jacques are like my two favorite. Loooove them. Scott says I am an alcoholic cause I like to drink Jacques with all my meals. Lol. Silly boy. I'm pretty positive that I am not an alcoholic.
I bought Penny some new toys and a new collar since she chewed up her other one and it was lookin a little raggedy. My girl can't be looking raggedy. I will not accept it. This one is pink with hot pink and purple hearts all on it. Totally cute. I was gonna buy her this baby pink collar with rhinestones all over it, but it was kind of expensive so I decided that it will be purchased when she is full grown.
I start work again today but these past 2 days for the most part have been really enjoyable and relaxing. Last night at about 12:30 a.m. Scott and I decided we were hungry. Healthy time to be eating a meal, I know. We had grilled chicken salads around a little before dinner time, so we decided not to make dinner....But then we got hungry at the wee hours of the night. We made spaghetti with pesto sauce and chopped up tomato with a little hamburger meat. That is Scotts favorite meal. He always goes on and on whenever I make pasta with pesto sauce. We also had some garlic bread with parsley on it. Pretty tasty when mixed with the pasta and parmesan cheese (:
Scott and I are about to get ready and go have lunch at our favorite little sandwich shop in town. Which is always followed by the candy store. I'll be sure to take some pictures and make a blog sometime tonight for you guys since I have to cut this one short. More thoughts and insight later.
