Oh the joys of my life. Today was market day, again. I actually went, unlike last week. First I went to go get my nails filled. On the way home I picked up some lemons, raspberries, strawberries, tomatoes, and baby tomatoes. And then I was walking along and saw the cutest little booth with baked goods on it. After chatting with the ladies there, I came to find out I really messed up cause they had tons of stuff and lots of yummy things at their booth and now they had almost nothing left. So next friday I am going early and scoring on some really yummy stuff! Today I bought 3 rice krispies with chocolate inside of them and white chocolate drizzled on top, a coffe cake cupcake, and a mini carrot cake. SO CUTE! And to think, that's the "little scraps" they had left. I'm so excited for these treats. Perfect to bring to work with me, along with the starbucks mocha's I got from the grocery store. The bottled kind, that way I can stop dragging my feet at work and actually have some good, fake energy! Haha (: So anyways, besides all that fun stuff i've been up to pretty much nothing. When I'm home alone in the mornings, i've been really addicted to lighting a lot of candles. It makes it more cozy since it's been super freezing outside. Me and Penny just hang around the house being lazy, hanging out in bed before I go to work. Poor penny has just been sitting and laying around a lot, and has some issues with the going to the bathroom department so I called the vet yesterday morning to ask if that was all normal, and she said "No! Bring her in right now if you can!". So of course I freaked out and brought her there and the vet checked her all out, and i ended up going home with two medicines that I have to give her every day for the next week. I also have to bring her in tomorrow morning for a follow up. She's acting better though. So I think the medicine is helping.
And for the record, I'm pretty sure only my dog would manage to get her leash stuff in that metal loop while it's raining, my arms are full of stuff, i'm trying to find the car keys, and she's bolting towards the grass while i'm trying to get her in the car to go to the vet. I had to take a second, relax myself and laugh at the fact that she did that. It took me a good 5 minutes to get it out. I also made some oatmeal cookies, because I was very in the mood to use up the very last of a lot of things in my cupboard so I could clear up some space. I tried to drizzle the chocolate on them but I think I heated it up a little too long because then it got a little hard to deal with so i spread the chocolate with a toothpick over the cookies lol. Didn't turn out the way I envisioned it but eh. Maybe next time.
That's it for now. Nothing has changed. I still miss California.
