A really eventful weekend, and my thoughts about the Xbox Kinect.

So my life has been more eventful these past few days than it has been in quite awhile. Hence the reason no blog posts for a little bit. No time! Well let's rewind... Friday I went out and saw a movie with Kristine and Alex, Paranormal Activivty 2. Dinner beforehand also. Good girls night out (: Saturday Scott and I went over to our friends house, and got really drunk. I've seriously never seen him so drunk. We went to club and there ended up being a huge fight between some black guy and the guys that were with us. Scott tried to act like he was gonna do something, but i held him and told him not to move. Boys get stupid when they drink. We all then went back to my friends house after getting kicked out, and had some more fun. That's when the really embarrassing pictures got captured. Sunday Scott and I weren't feeling all that well, and on top of that Scott had to work. Poor baby! So I let him sleep from when he got home around 9:30 pm, til about 4 pm the next day. Apparently he needed it.  Sunday I was also dealing with a bunch of girls and drama. I'm friends with both sides, so I tried to stay out of it as much as possible, but it just got a little out of hand so cops were called and everything is settled now for the most part. I'm a forgiving person, especially to the one girl here who I feel is an actual friend. I mean sure everyone here I am friends with, but this certain girl, I'm just a lot closer too than the rest. And the reason behind it all that got me involved, wasn't a reason in my eyes to stop being friends with her about. Sorry if that's a little confusing for you guys. Had to get it off my chest.

Monday while Scott was asleep, I got myself out of the house and went to the coffee house/lounge area and hung out with my friends Joe and Stacy Brocious. Hung out, got lunch, walked around the bx and then I came across the Kinect for the xbox. I bought it and told Scott it was for christmas. Of course when I was in the shower he was opening it up and setting it all up. I told him it was for christmas but he was like ITS AN EARLY PRESENT, So I guess I will be buying a wii too. Gotta have something under that tree! We'll see. So after giving in and playing it, I have to say that it is really awesome. No controller, you just use your body. I want to go out and get more games for it now. While playing it I was working up a sweat. I like the fact that it's got you being active. I think that's a step in the right direction for video games. It was just turning into nonsense sitting there for hours, not speaking or doing anything. Just playing that game til you reach your goal. This movement deal is my kind of thing. Just wish my livingroom was bigger. OH and also, the kinect takes pictures of you while you are playing your game. And once you're done, it shows you what you looked like while playing that game. So weird, but so cool. Okay, I'm done talking about the dang video game system.

Also had game night last night with Jordan, Brit, Stacy, Joe and Scott. It was fun until Scott ruined my mood by telling me he didn't want to be my partner anymore cause I suck. My husband has such a way with words, i know. He had a lot of making up to do with me.

Tomorrow is Harry Potter night!!! Dinner at nando's, (my favorite) and then a glorious 2 1/2 hours of the new HP movie. I'm so excited I can't stop thinking about it. Definitely looking forward to tomorrow. Also going shopping with Jordan and Britliegh in Cambridge. We love us some Primark, plus I needa shop for christmas presents too. Wonderful day tomorrow, i'm hoping.

I miss texting all my friends whenever I want, And I miss the warmth. It's getting too chilly over here.
